Easter Prayer
...written by my son, age 13
God, your Son rose from your Kingdom of Heaven to earth, in order to retake his mortal form and walk among us. From the tomb, with holes from the nails of his crucifixion still fresh, he returned to us in order to preach your word to us, heal the wounded, and forgive the sinful. He did this by your command, as we shall remember on this ever-date-changing holiday. Holy spirit to whom we pray, Amen.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog. It always makes me smile to get a note that "someone was here"--it reminds me of how we are all truly connected to one another.
